Vogelzang Slimline Pellet Stove Review

Long time user of pellet fuel and currently have 2 stoves by us stove company. I needed an additional pellet stove for my work shop and had limited space. This stove met both my price (999.00 at tractor supply company) and sizing needs. This stove is very similar to my Ashley King 5000 xl in a more compact package. It has some great improvements over my 5000 xl including an adjustable door latch, deeper air chamber under the burn pot, built in thermostat and adjustable air inlet damper.
This is the first stove i have used that truly holds the amount of pellets the hopper is rated for, a 1 and half bag or 60 pounds. I tested the stove before installing it. It ran perfect and was very quit compared to my other stoves.
Overall the build quality is good and I gave the stove a 4 star rating based on my initial experience. I would have gave it a five but the control panel can not be adjusted for different fuel qualities, but does come with a manual inlet damper that should provide a similar function.

I have only ran the stove a few hours and the heat output seems good. I cant rate durability and reliability but I have reasonable success with my other uss co stoves. I,ll leave a updated review some time later in 2013 when the heating season is in full swing.
