Rion EcoGrow Greenhouses! All the features of our other models (durable, expandable, attractive, easy to assemble) in a slimmer size! Our customers talked to us, and we listened! We were overloaded with requests for a greenhouse that included all the great features of our larger models but in a smaller size. The result is the new Rion EcoGrow greenhouse. We slimmed the width of the greenhouse down by 2 feet on the sides, to 6.5 feet to help it fit into a narrower yard or growing area. And just like our larger greenhouses, the durable frame is constructed from UV protected PVC resin and held together with push-n-fit resin connectors, so construction of the greenhouse is literally a snap. We've also included 6mm twin walled polycarbonate side panels which offer superior strength, safety, light diffusion and heat isolation. The Rion Greenhouses can withstand winds of up to 80 mph and have been tested to support a 1,100 lb snow load! Rion EcoGrow house Review

I am extremely satisfied with the final product - the walls are double-wall 6 mm polycarbonate and do a good job of heat retention. The roof vents work well and the door opens and closes securely. All the parts - eventually - fit together into an impressive greenhouse. As a finished greenhouse, I would give it 5 stars, at least so far.

However - the instructions start out by saying the kit is designed so it can be put together by one person, with a bit of help from one other person to put the roof on. Well - maybe. If you are strong and wily and really good at this stuff and are willing to take a long long time. I had the help of two other people in the assembly and 4 other people in putting the roof on, and it still took 15-16 hours or more - moreover, there were a lot of things that only my strong male friend could do, like fitting the more stubborn panels and parts together. Soapy water does make it easier, but it was still too hard for me or my female friend to do. And the roof - well, you really need people all around the thing to make it go down evenly and securely. With the 6.5 x 10 foot size, two people wouldn't cut it. At least not two of these people!

Other than the somewhat optimistic lead-in, the instructions are pretty good, given the complexity of the kit - and the kit is fairly forgiving if you assemble a piece wrong and need to take it apart and start over. Apparently you can take it apart and add more sections if you need more room.

It's together now and I'm very satisfied - size, quality and insulating quality are far above what I see with other kits. Just don't plan to put it together by yourself in an afternoon or two. The thing is - the parts DO go together, none are missing, none are flimsy or badly designed - so it's well worth doing. And they put in enough extra plastic "pins", which are used to secure the parts together, so that you can lose quite a few and still have plenty!
