I used to use Spectracide Weed Killer about 4 years ago. It was alright, but not as consistent with each batch of spray I purchased.
I switched to Remuda and was impressed with the results. I use at the highest strength, spray around 1st of May, in 10-14 days everything is dead, After 3-4 months I use another treatment, to prevent any new growth during our rainy season.
I also find it is more effective to spray the day after a rain or if you wet the area down prior to you spraying your weeds. Spraying your weeds when they are new or just starting to grow is more effective. You use a lot less spray on young small weeds, but, a lot more if the weeds are allowed to get above 4-6 inches or higher. Another factor to consider, if it is the warm season, spraying at dusk or early morning before the sun rises, with moist ground, the weed killer works better.
