We supply all the interior room parts and you nail our 1''x 4'' tongue and groove boards to your studs; our boards will run horizontally. We cut the material and build parts to fit your room; we don't just supply a pile of lumber and unassembled pieces.

I purchased a 4x6 version of this Sauna. I am grateful, everyday, that I did.

I looked around quite a bit for sauna packages before deciding on Finlandia. There is no question that they are the best Sauna available for the money.

There are a lot of reasons. First, they use genuine clear grade red cedar. They don't skimp on either the quality or aesthetics of the wood.

Second, they have reasonable shipping costs.

Third, their accessories are top notch, especially their stainless steel heating units (made in Finland).

Fourth, they give quality directions for your contractor that makes it relatively easy to construct a room for the package.

Fifth, their benches are double the quality of any competitor. The bench is the part of the sauna that is most important because the bench allows the heat to circulate around your body, and, assists in transferring the heat to your body.

One of the most important benefits of a sauna is that it is a natural (toxin free) anti-oxidant. Taking a sauna is like taking massive doses of Vitamin E and C without the toxins that are associated with taking pills.

However, you need to transfer the heat to your body. You can only do this in a high humidity environment. Any sauna (such as an "infra-red sauna" that does not allow for the heat to completely surround you, and, for the steam from the heating unit to saturate the air) is not really a sauna. The "good steam" (the Finns call this "loli) (pronounced "lurely") must surround you, or, none of the heat or health benefits will transfer to your body. (I purchased a copper bucket and dipper and add (no more than) five drops of Eucalyptus oil to the water. The Eucalyptus oil in the water really helps soothe and heal your respiratory tracts (sinuses, etc.). Old timers used to put eucalyptus leaves in tea kettles on their iron stoves to infuse the air with the healing benefits of loli and eucalyptus).

Finlandia saunas are specifically designed to provide the maximum anti-oxidant effects, provide the best aesthetics (the smell of the red cedar is invirgorating and soothing) and they look great. (I'll upload a picture)

I installed one in my bedroom (4x6) and savor the luxury of taking a sauna before I shave and shower in the morning. It really gets me off to a great start each day.

I had to have a contractor build the room for the package, but, it only took about 10 days and the package arrived after only a few weeks of waiting.

I will never regret spending a little extra money on a Finlandia to get the best.
