Placed order to Amazon for Pool Blaster Max CG (battery operated pool vacuum)on Wednesday and was impressed to receive item on Thursday. Per instructions, my daughter plugged charger cord into vacuum for recommended 12 hour charge. on Friday I unplugged charger and did notice that the connection was a loose fit. I assumed the product had received its 12 hour charge and put it to its first use in my large dirty pool. The vacuum worked very well and was performing as advertised for the first hour even as it gradually grew weaker in suction power. When I attempted to recharge, the connection on the vacuum was missing a connector pin to hold the charger cord in place. Now I have to figure out to who and where to return the product for repalcement. Will Amazon replace or do I have to send it to the manufacturer? I like the product, but it does have to be operable.
UPDATE: Amazon will replace the defective product. The process was very user friendly. Being a first time Amazon shopper, I am impressed with return/replacement process.
