I went ahead and purchased a box of 10 of these hoses since I get soaked when I buy this at the local pool supply store. Since these hoses deteriorate fairly quickly due to heat I suppose and chemicals in the pool. By purchasing a pack of ten, I saved about $5.00 per hose, and I need several to make my sweep work as they deteriorate.
I find it outrageous the prices that you have to pay for Polaris pool sweeps replacement parts. What a racket. There are no competitors so the manufacturer can get whatever price they want, since there are no options that I know off as substitute parts for the Polaris 180.
