I was getting used to my old dull chain so I was amazed at how fast the new J78 sliced through logs. It is a delight to use. A warning that may help others: I originally bought an H78 chain because the packaging listed it as being appropriate for my Husqvarna 51. Tech support at Oregon later explained that the H78 should not be used because its .050 gauge doesn't match the .058 gauge bar that came with my saw. Kudos to Lowes who refunded my H78 money!
