I wanted a solid and nice-quality bench, and this item fit the ticket. I use it on a covered porch, where it co-exists with some cushioned wicker furniture. The bench is more casual than a cushioned chairs, but it still does not look out of place. And after 6 months of salty air and moisture, it still looks great. (I got the white-painted 5- or 6- foot bench.)
