I know, it's a popular theme but stick with me.

My wife and I spent quite a bit of time shopping for furniture for our new patio. We looked at the big box stores, department stores and the specialty patio furniture stores. We did find lower prices meant lower quality and the only sets I would spend money on were a the specialty stores. I could see the difference.

Thinking I could get a better deal I started to shop online. Without seeing it in person I took a chance on this set. In the end I was hoping this was the equivalent to a $4000 patio set. It is not.

The good:

' Shipping and tracking from the vendor was good
' The patio set is comfortable with high enough backs and long enough seats.
' Unlike some of the cheaper chairs we saw, these can be used without the cushions.
' The set assembled easily with very few tools and no mismatched bolt holes.

The bad and ugly:

' The quality of the castings are not very good. There are many rough areas.
' There is a reason no picture exist for the backside of the chairs. They are concave and cheap looking.
' The welds are rough and ugly.
