I got this because I am handicapped and I needed a place to keep my canes and grab sticks. I put this in the entry hall by the front door, and I am pleased that it goes well with my tropical d cor. I really love it, except for one thing. The thing I don't like is that the place where I need to keep this is sort of dark, and the colors on this stand are darker than they look in the picture. This results in the stand not showing up as well as I would like it to. I think it would be much better placed in a location with a lot of light to show off the pattern. I also think this piece would be stunning used as a planter for tall silk or dried plants like bamboo or sea grasses.
