I successfully built a decent pond with this. Overall I'm happy, but with these comments.
1. The old CD is from probably a closed company that gives generat pond building methods and is not specific for the parts included in the kit.
2. There is no other instructions, but the skimmer and waterfall filter manual. I have to search and watch youtubes to get more details on how to build the pond.
3. There is no filter media, so I have to buy separately. The waterfall filter is kind of cheap and small. There is no pre-drill hole for the plate to secure the liner on. So you have to drill it yourself. Also the bottom plastic grill plate that the filter rests on needs a hand-cut indent in order to fit over the bull head nut.
4. The Anjon water pump connection is a little bit tricky since there is no instruction. You need to twist the outlet out (see pump part diagram in manual) to put in a provided adapter. Then, cut a short piece of the semi-rigid flex hose to connect from the adapter to the check valve.
5. There is still a mysterious leak around the skimmer. I think it's because I didn't do a good job on connecting the liner to the weir door. However, from the video, if a double sided tape was provided in the kit, I would do better to straighten up the liner against the skimmer.

I almost gave up building the pond, but anyhow am enjoying the pond. My little kois are getting bigger and fatter after just one week. Acquarium is just not for koi and goldfish.
